For a while now, I have had a lot of trouble enjoying the books I have been reading. I have been HATING all of the main characters and not connecting with the characters and stories at all.
That has all changed! Last week, I started and finished Crazy in Love by Lani Diane Rich.
The main character Flynn Daly was easy to relate to. The male love interest, Jake Tucker, was rugged and misunderstood…just how we like them in this genre. The story was fun and easy to read. I stayed up past midnight reading on a week night!!!! Then, the next day, I ended up reading for over two hours when I just meant to sit down for 30 minutes!
There was action and just enough intrigue to keep me turning the pages…not to mention the eerie visits of deceased loved one.
As with every book, there were things I wish were different. I do wish that Flynn and Jake were given more depth and the story was fleshed out.
This book is a terrific beach read for anyone who wants a fun story about a woman who can hold her own.
A little about the author: Lani Diane Rich is a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author of 13 books. She also writes as Lucy March, though those books fall under a different genre.
