A Look Ahead: April Goals

This is a new monthly series where I will set goals for the month. At the end of the month, there will also be a post with a round-up.

So, April is always a big month for us. My late father-in-laws birthday, my mother-in-laws birthday, Easter and our anniversary fall within 11 days. This year is our 10th anniversary and to everyone's dismay, we are not taking a trip to celebrate.

Goals for April

1. Clean our our master closet once and for all.

We have a pretty standard rule that we do not buy more hangars. If we get to a point that we are out of hangars, we clean out the closet. This has basically served as a bandaid to the problem of the overflowing closet, but now, it is time to just get it over with. There are a ton of clothes in that closet that we haven't worn and that we will not wear. Its time to let it go!

2. Decorate the porch

I have been pretty hands off with the outside stuff, but the porch has spent the winter as a storage area, so its time for an overhaul.

3. Finish organizing my Mother-in-law's closet

I have started helping her pare one of her closets down and move items into Rubbermaid tubs.

4. Make final decisions on how to decorate our renovated bathroom

Next month, we are renovating a bathroom and I need to choose paint colors, tile, cabinets, etc.

5. Find a job as a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner
