Month in Review: August

Time is flying! Our cruise countdown is finally manageable. Chris is on his second to last trip for the year.

How did the month go????

Walking: I am walking...not 45 minutes a day 4 days a week, but 30 minutes a day 3 days a week...so serious progress. I'm hoping to get 3 days in this week, but I lost track of time yesterday and today is a LONG day of being away from the house, so who knows how it will go.

Bathroom Storage: Finishing touches are going in tomorrow!

Tree: I got the tree and a bonus tree down yesterday.

Shed: Now that the tree is down, I can call the shed people. So I am hoping to get that done Thursday so we can have a plan for it to come maybe right after Labor Day...Fingers crossed.

Subcontractors: No movement here. It will remain a goal.

Dine-in Theater: A friend and I went on Saturday night to see The Glass Castle. Movie was good. Some technical difficulties from eating in the dark...but enjoyable experience. Pro-tip: Arrive 30 minutes early and reserve a seat in Row B or C.

Megan's Reception: We went home for my cousin Megan's wedding reception and had a lot of fun! We drove up on Saturday morning, went to her reception, and saw my friend Erin. Sunday, we forced my late-sleeping brother out of bed at the crack of dawn for coffee cake and present opening. We went in with my parents to get him a drone. Then we went to the clubhouse to fly the drone. After the batteries died, we went back to my parent's house for lunch before hopping back on the road to come back to Nashville.

Project for this week: So, I filled out my planner for September and planned all of my blog posts through October 10. I am working on our Whole 30 menu and grocery lists and restaurant choices. Bathroom storage is in progress. The tree is down. And I am washing all of the fabrics in this house and ironing all of my husband's work clothes. Which is a lot. The man has 33 button down shirts and 4 pairs of khakis.

Ok. August is going to wrap up with a bang! Can't wait for September!
