It's finally that time of year again! TV is almost back!

I love TV. I need it to function. I know that sounds weird, but I need the sound in the background.

"Why don't you listen to music?" People ask. I can't. It doesn't hold my attention enough. I like to hear people talking. Podcasts, Audiobooks, TV shows, Movies. That is what I need to hear during the day.

We always like to try most of the new shows and see where the quality is. So, last week, we sat down and watched trailers for all the new shows we might like.

What did we find? A lot of meh. But here are the shows we are going to try.

On CBS:

9JKL: A sitcom with a similar construct to Everybody Loves Raymond, where a family lives too close to each other.

Me, Myself and I: Another sitcom set at three stages of a man's life. This one stars Bobby Moynahan from SNL and the actor who played Urkel in the 90s.

Seal Team: One of the Three military based shows on the networks. This one stars David Boreanz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Bones.

Wisdom of the Crowd: A show about a man who creates an app that people can use to submit evidence to ongoing investigations.

Young Sheldon: A sitcom that is a prequel to Big Bang Theory. This is one of the things we are most excited about.

On NBC:

The Brave: Another military based show. I'm less into this show, but like last year's time travel theme, we will try them all.

The Good Doctor: A medical show whose main character has autism. It stars the actor who played Norman in Bates Motel.

Will & Grace: A reboot of the 90s sitcom, Will & Grace, with all of the original cast

On ABC:

The Mayor: A sitcom about a guy who decides to run for mayor to help his music career take off. Stars Lea Michele from Glee.

Kevin (Probably) Saves the World: I'm only giving this one a shot because it stars Jason Ritter. I can't see watching more than my required 3 episodes.

10 Days in the Valley: A mystery show that is based around a kidnapping. Eh.

On Fox:

The Orville: A spoof of Star Trek starring Seth McFarland. Its pretty funny and probably the only way I'm going to watch Star Trek.

Ghosted: A new Adam Scott sitcom about a team of paranormal investigators.

The Gifted: The third military show.

On The CW:

Life Sentence: A show about a girl who had cancer and goes into remission.

And that's it. Its a lot, but only the best of the best will make the cut. Somethings will be relegated to filler shows for me to listen to. Some shows will be huge nos! Like The Mindy Project. And Hulu really wants us to watch it. But we hated it.
