Saturday morning, we slept in a little bit before packing back up and heading down to breakfast. Hyatt Place has one of the best complimentary breakfasts out there. After breakfast we gathered our bags and loaded onto the port transfer.

The Hyatt Place we stayed at was a little far from the port. It took us about 30 minutes to travel between the hotel and the port. We were on the second ship the transfer was stopping at.

We arrived at 11:10, which was during our 30 minute arrival window and got into the line for security. At the first checkpoint, you give them your medical forms, passport, and boarding pass. Then, you head through the metal detectors and bag screening and proceed up to the boarding area, where you wait for your group to be called.

When you group is called, you head through the next set of doors with your boarding pass and group number. Then, you get your picture taken for your sail and sign card and you get your picture made before heading to the boarding line.

When we made it onto the ship, we hopped into the shore excursion line to set up our excursion for Cozumel, which we hadn't been able to do previously because of an itinerary change and a previously scheduled shore excursion. After getting our shore excursions settled, we headed up to the Lido Buffet to get some lunch around 12:15. Here is a little known secret...the Conquest class ships have a buffet line on Deck 10 Aft. On the Glory, it was a BBQ buffet. It was pretty quiet up there until about 1:00. By then we were finished eating and went to look around the decks. Cabins open to guests at 1:30, so I kept our stuff and laid in the shade reading while the guys went to explore.

At 1:30, the guys came back to find me so we could head to our cabins. Here is something a little embarrassing...I fell down the stairs. Luckily, no one saw me. Not even Chris or Jason. They just heard me clunking. This was the first "illness" of the vacation.

After I elevated my foot for a few minutes, we headed up to the Lido for the sail away party and then we went to get ready for dinner.

For dinner, we headed to the Main Dining Room and we started off with shrimp cocktail for our starter. For dinner, I had Salmon Cakes, but we forgot to take pictures, so I don't remember what Chris had for dinner. We also took pictures of our desserts...but can't remember what they were...but they were good.

On the dessert menu, every night under a heading "For the Table", is the famous Carnival Melting Cake. Jason was CONVINCED that it would be a huge cake, because it was under "For the Table". He even had our table mates who had ordered it convinced it was a giant dessert. The melting cake comes in a ramekin. Its a small, very rich chocolate lava style cake.

After dinner, we headed to the Welcome Aboard Show which was a lot of fun, but not my favorite show. Then we went to the Punchliner Comedy Club and ordered the Punchliner cocktail. After the late night comedy show, we grabbed some pizza and water and headed to bed.
