When we booked this cruise, Half Moon Cay was the port I was least excited by, but man, did it blow me away!

Half Moon Cay is a Bahamanian island that is owned by one of the Carnival companies.

That morning, we grabbed breakfast on the lido deck because we wanted to be on one of the early tenders.

Half Moon Cay is a tender port and we were lucky enough to be on the second tender to the island. We headed straight for the beach. After we snagged a couple of beach chairs, we headed straight for the water. The island was very hot, even at 10 AM, but the water was the perfect cool temperature to match.

We snorkeled and swam and just hung out in the water until lunch time. Then we got out and laid on the chairs to dry off a bit before heading to the Barbecue area. The food was really good! There were even chickens running around eating crumbs that had fallen to the ground.

After lunch, we headed back to the beach and back into that beautiful water. Seriously. It was so beautiful.

Around 3, we packed up and hopped on another tender. Once we were back on the ship, we grabbed a snack and went to take a nap and get ready for dinner.

Dinner was delicious. After dinner, we tried some drinks at the Alchemy Bar. I had the Cucumber Sunrise and Chris had The Remedy (I think) . We went to the stage show, which was fantastic and then to late night comedy.

After comedy, we got pizza and hung out on deck before calling it a night.
