When Chris is out of town, I lay pillows on his side of the bed so it feels like someone is laying there. Lexi decided to sleep on "pillow Chris".

I recently found a curry recipe that we both love and red curry paste is so expensive at Kroger. So on Valentine's Day, Chris came home with this 100 serving tub of red curry paste!

I love the shed. But this is a picture of the driveway. We had our driveway graded and re-rocked. I love our recent home improvements!
How did February go?
Well. February did not go as planned.
Things were on track. I tidied my master closet, organized my upper kitchen cabinets and pantry, finished the laundry room and the shed, started a Bible Study and worked in my MIL's bedroom.
I was posting pretty regularly and then, you know how when life is going well, there is always a brick wall that you run into.
On February 19, my sweet, loving Grandma had a stroke. She passed away two days later. I was in northern Kentucky from February 20-February 28. I'm not quite ready to write about it, but plan to next week.
Obviously, all life progress stopped at that point.
I have been back for 2 days now and spent yesterday at Bible Study, lunch with a friend and a visit to my MIL's house to check in with her.
I am incredibly grateful that I am able to put my life on hold and be there for my family. I love that I was able to spend nine days tending to my family and I wouldn't give that up for anything.
But, on to March.

Month Ahead
On March 22, the hospice where my grandma died is having a memorial service, so I am hoping to be able to go up there for two nights to help at the house a little more and to check in with the family. Then on March 29, we are flying to Las Vegas to visit my friend and her family because her step-children have been going through the RCIA program to become Catholic and will be completing the program and entering the church on Holy Saturday.

Flowers from an arrangement at Grandma's funeral. Mom is taking the roses to have rosaries made. I brought the daisies home to enjoy for a few days. This is one of the pluses of having a master florist aunt. My MIL called to order flowers for me and my aunt, who did my wedding flowers, created a beautiful arrangement with the same roses as the casket spray and daisies because everyone knows they are my favorite.
